All products purchased directly from cooperatives of low-income farmers or thru nonprofit alternative channels.
Additional educational information is available. Some products are limited by the amount of each co-op's annual
harvest. We are dealing with small farmers. In some cases a higher price is paid into a fund to improve living
conditions of the farmers, as is the case with Nicaraguan and Costa Rican ground coffees.
